Program of Retail Summit 2018

Feb 5 – 7, 2018 Clarion Congress Hotel Prague
Balance

Our society is entering into a new development phase characterized by a series of contradictory trends – technology is rapidly changing business and society, while at the same time, it is clear that even more than before the success lies on the people.

It is hard to win without global know-how and money, but it has never been so clear that retail is a purely local business. Producers and retailers need (and also hate) each other more than ever before. Customers prefer their privacy and at the same time they firmly require a personalized offer.

Let's discuss how to find a balance in this world full of new dramatic contradictions!

People have always been, are and will be the basis for retail business – in front of the counter or behind it, or whether the "counter" looks in any way. The man is also at the same time the main source of (un) balance. Retail Summit is therefore logically opened by speeches on character of human being, what he/she wants and desires and where our entire society is heading. We will focus on trends in demand, searching for a balance between the need to get customized offer and at the same time protect personal data, and we will show how technology can enable better understanding of customers.
